The Watermaid Unit consists of two parts:

The Power Supply, containing a transformer which converts the main voltage to a low safe voltage (6 to 9 volts DC) yet capable of operating up to a maximum of 30 Amps DC.

The Cell, which is installed into the return-to-pool line of the pipework. This Cell, coated with rare precious metals, converts mild saline water into liquid chlorine for your swimming pool so that you do not have to add chlorine manually.
